This is the new Version 2 of our 3D Printed Tenkara Line, Leader or Tippet Spool. The spool width has decreased to .16"/4mm so it is smaller and stacks better so you can carry more lines. V2 also has a new construction that snaps together more securely.

These spools are great for storing furled tenkara lines, furled leaders or spare tippet. We designed and manufacture these spools using 3D printing technology in our shop (made in USA). They are printed with a biopolyer called PLA that is produced form cornstarch and is a renewable resource. PLA is biodegradible in landfills but will not deteriorate with normal usage (we've had one in a jar of water for 3 months with no sign of degradation). Made in the USA.
