Pillars & Spindles Set in Brass or Aluminum

This set includes all of the pillars and spindles required to make the reel described in "The Reelsmith's Primer". The spindles and pillars are pre-tapped and cut to length. The foot pillars are pre-cut to length and bored for 4-40 mounting screw clearance. The parts can also be used for your own reel designs. Here’s what you get (from left to right in the photograph):

• four 3/16″ x 1/4″ foot pillars, bored for 4-40 clearance (in either brass or aluminum)

• three 3/16″ x 1″ pillars, tapped 4-40 on both ends (in either brass or aluminum)

• one 1/4″ x 1 1/16″ aluminum spindle, tapped 8-32 on both ends

• one 3/16 x 7/8″ aluminum handle spindle, tapped 4-40 on both ends
