HOW TO ORDER
You may place your order online or order using postal mail. We accept the following forms of payment:

We strive to ship in-stock products within one business day. Sometimes we are away from the office for business for a few days though. Longer outages (like vacations) are noted on our home page. Orders will be processed as soon as possible upon our return. Also, since many of our products are unique and hand-crafted, we may not keep all items in stock.
If you need an item quickly - as a gift for instance - please email us before placing your order to make sure the item is in stock and we are available to ship it quickly. We will do our very best to accommodate you!
Note that the shipping rates for most items we sell are weight-based. The weight of an item can be found on its product detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Most products are shipped via US Postal Service First Class or Priority Mail. If possible, books shipped within the USA are sent via US Postal Service Media Mail. These are fast, convenient, and cost effective shipping options. If you have a special shipping request, please email us with details and we will do our best to help out.
We are a Massachusetts based business and charge a 6.25% sales tax to all Massachusetts residents. We currently do not charge sales tax to customers in other locations.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
All purchases are payable in US funds (cashier checks, money orders, or credit cards).
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, so they cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping costs for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. We will do our best to verify lowest shipping charges and will refund any overage if we can find a better rate.
The buyer is responsible for tariffs, duties, VAT, and customs fees. Our prices and shipping fees do not include these fees. We have no means to estimate what customs fees will be so please check with your country’s Customs Office.
Note: we declare the actual cost for your order. Please do not ask us to report a lower value for customs or tax purposes.

If we do not respond within 24 hours during the business week, please be patient - we may be away (check our home page). Our Product Instructions are available for you to download as PDF files. These may be easier to read since you can print or view them full size.
Some of our products contain chemicals, including lead, known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.

We take your privacy and personal information seriously. When you place an order or subscribe to our newsletter, we will protect this information and will not sell, trade or give it to another vendor or marketeer. Our e-commerce platform (Big Commerce) and payment processor (PayPal) also take privacy and protection of your information seriously.
You may remove your name from our newsletter list at anytime by clicking the Unsubscribe link in any email we send to you. You may also email us directly to be unsubscribed.
It is easy to use our discount coupons. The coupon code is entered in the Coupon Code field at the upper right corner of the Shopping Cart page as shown in the following screenshot.
Our Gift Certificates are sure to please the angler on your shopping list. Certificates are available for ammounts from $10 to $100 and will be automatically emailed to your recipient. You can add a special message that will be included in the email.
