This Click Check Kit can be easily added to one of our Silent Check Reel Kits or to the reel design in The Reelsmith's Primer. With a little ingenuity, you can also adapt it to fit your own designs. There are 3 material variations to match our Click Check Reel Kits:

Order the Brass Click Check to match our Brass Reel. It includes brass pillars and screws.

Order the Aluminum Click Check to match our Aluminum Reel. It includes aluminum pillars and stainless screws.

Order the Bi-metal Click Check to match our Bi-metal Reel. It includes aluminum pillars and brass screws.

Reel Punishment

Hi Michael,

Just a note to let you know that I used my Rod Gathering reel with the click check for fishing on the Blue River, Silverthorne, CO for two days last week. It performed flawlessly on over 20 rainbows up to 6 pounds. Some were screaming runners; others were leapers. I was really pleased. My friends from Denver loved the brass reel.
