Michael conducts Reelsmithing Workshops all around the country. The workshops are a fun 3 to 4 hour event and everyone leaves with a completed reel! Workshops can be as small as 4 or as large as 25 attendees and include all materials, supplies and toolsd required to complete your reel.

These workshops make great fundraisers for Trout Unlimited, Federation of Fly Fishers, Boy Scouts, or other conservation and non-profit organizations*. If you would like to host a Workshop, please email Michael for more information.

Just a note to let you know that I used my Rod Gathering reel with the click check for fishing on the Blue River, Silverthorne, CO for two days last week.  It performed flawlessly on over 20 rainbows up to 6 pounds.  Some were screaming runners; others were leapers.  I was really pleased.  My friends from Denver loved the brass reel.
